History

Los Violadores were the first punk band from Buenos Aires, Argentina to reach mainstream status. Since their beggings in 1980, their shows in small underground venues gathered hundreds of followers. In those times, their name was censored so they had to present themselves as "Los Voladores". The group was formed by Pil Trafa, singer; El Niño, bass; Tucán, guitar; and Sergio Vall, drummer.

Due to being friends with Michel Peyronel, the drummer from the band Riff, the band manages to record their first album in 1983, simply titled Los Violadores.
