History
Secret Affair, fronted by Ian Page, emerged as a prominent force in the Mod Revival movement, becoming the second best-selling band of the era in the UK. Their most recognized singles, 'Time for Action' and 'My World,' each achieved sales exceeding 200,000 copies domestically.
The band's early lineup featured drummer Seb Shelton, who departed after their second album to join Dexys Midnight Runners. He was succeeded by Paul Bultitude for the recording of their third album.
Secret Affair released three studio albums: Glory Boys, Behind Closed Doors, and Business As Usual. A compilation, Anthology, was later released in 2003 by Sanctuary Music.
The band reformed with a new lineup in 2008, performing at The Isle of Wight Scooter Rally on August 22nd and The Astoria 2 on September 13th. In 2009, Secret Affair made their debut performance in Ireland at Whelan's, Dublin, on March 6th, followed by a show at The Camden Centre in London on May 30th.
