Secret Affair, fronted by Ian Page, emerged as a prominent force in the Mod Revival movement, becoming the second best-selling band of the era in the UK. Their most recognized singles, 'Time for Action' and 'My World,' each achieved sales exceeding 200,000 copies domestically.
The band's early lineup featured drummer Seb Shelton, who departed after their second album to join Dexys Midnight Runners. He was succeeded by Paul Bultitude for the recording of their third album.
