Copyright Policy of MusicHeartsFM
Last Updated: March 2026
MusicHeartsFM respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We are an aggregation platform that provides a user interface to search and organize musical content hosted on external services.
1. Data Sources and Content
Our Service is not the original host or primary source of audio, video, or protected graphic materials. We use official third-party APIs to display information:
Audio and Video: Content is streamed directly from YouTube servers.
Metadata: Information about artists, albums, and tracks is sourced from MusicBrainz and Last.fm.
Images and Cover Art: Artist photos and album covers are displayed via Spotify API, Cover Art Archive, and other open metadata sources.
2. Technical Caching and Fair Use
To ensure optimal performance and interface stability, certain metadata elements (such as medium-resolution album covers or artist thumbnails) may be temporarily cached on our servers.
Purpose: These images are used strictly for informational and identification purposes regarding musical works and performers.
Limitation: We do not claim ownership of these visual assets. Caching is performed automatically as a technical optimization, maintaining resolutions appropriate for web navigation.
3. Data Privacy and Static Content
We prioritize user privacy. Our infrastructure is configured to deliver cached visual assets (thumbnails and artist images) without logging the visitor's IP address or storing identifiable traffic data related to static content requests.
4. Takedown Procedure
If you are a copyright holder and believe that any content accessible through our Service infringes upon your rights, we recommend:
Contact the original host (e.g., YouTube or Spotify). Removing the content at the source will cause it to automatically disappear from MusicHeartsFM.
Notify MusicHeartsFM. As we maintain a local cache of certain assets, we can promptly remove specific files from our server upon receiving a valid notice.
To request a removal, please email [email protected] including a description of the work, the specific URL on our site, and your contact information. We process valid requests within 48 to 72 hours.
