Vesania

Vesania is a Polish band known for their symphonic black metal and blackened death metal sound. The band's name, derived from Latin, signifies concepts of madness, insanity, dementia, and mental illness.

Formed in Legionowo, Poland, in 1997, Vesania's initial output included members such as Orion (Behemoth) and Daray (formerly of Vader, Dimmu Borgir). Their debut release was the 2002 split album Moonastray, shared with Black Altar. This release, issued exclusively in Poland by Odium Records, was limited to 666 hand-signed copies, each autographed with blood.
