Kevin Burke

Kevin Burke is a highly regarded Irish fiddler, born in London in 1950 to parents hailing from County Sligo. His musical journey began at the age of eight when he started playing the fiddle, developing a virtuosic command of the distinctive Sligo fiddling style.

Burke's career gained significant momentum when he joined the renowned Irish traditional music group, The Bothy Band, in 1976. Later, in 1986, he became a member of another prominent ensemble, Patrick Street.
