Econoline Crush is a Canadian industrial alternative rock band formed in Vancouver, British Columbia. Initially based in Seattle, Washington, the band relocated to lead singer Trevor Hurst's native Canada, where they achieved their greatest success. Their notable singles include "Wicked," "Home," "Sparkle and Shine," and "You Don't Know What It's Like."

The band was established around 1992 when Trevor Hurst responded to an advertisement placed by Tom Ferriss (formerly of Moev) in a Seattle-area newspaper. Econoline Crush released a five-song EP titled "Purge" before their debut full-length album, "Affliction," which garnered critical acclaim and moderate commercial success in Canada.
