Anika Pyle

Anika Pyle is a songwriter, poet, and multidisciplinary artist whose work blends electronic pop, indie folk, and spoken word elements.

Born and raised in Colorado, Pyle began her musical journey in New York City while attending New York University. Her first band, Chumped, garnered critical acclaim for its debut EP and LP before disbanding in 2015. Following this, Pyle formed the indie-rock project katie ellen. In 2019, she released a collaborative EP with fellow songwriters Augusta Koch (Gladie, Cayetana) and Sheena Ozzella (Lemuria) on Asian Man Records. Pyle has performed internationally across the US, Canada, Europe, and West Africa, and has contributed vocals and original music to various studios, television, and film projects, including the movie 'Her Smell' starring Elisabeth Moss.
