Los Fabulosos Cadillacs are an influential Argentine band formed in Buenos Aires in 1985. Known for their eclectic fusion of musical styles, their sound incorporates elements of ska, rocksteady, reggae, rock, jazz, salsa, folk, rap, and big band music. The band released their debut album, Bares y Fondas, in 1986.

Throughout their career, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs have achieved significant critical and commercial success. In 1998, they received a Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album. Their single 'El Matador' garnered international recognition, earning an MTV Latino Video Music Award in 1994 and appearing on the soundtracks for the films Savages, Grosse Pointe Blank, and The Matador. This period marked a peak in the band's popularity, further solidified by an MTV Unplugged concert recorded on September 29, 1994.
