History
Cruise is a Soviet/Russian rock band founded in 1978. Throughout its history, it radically changed its sound from rock to heavy metal and then back to rock.
Cruise was formed in 1978 by Valeri Gaina (guitar), Alexander Monin (vocals) and Alexander Kirnitsky (bass). Under government pressure, they broke up in 1984, and then reformed without Monin , as Gaina took over the vocals.
