History Weak Size Fish

A high-energy, body-moving sound that keeps listeners wanting more, Weak Size Fish move forward with the release of their first studio album, Off We Go.

Based out of Fredericton, NB, the six-piece group is comprised of Nick Mazerolle (vocals/guitar/harp), Matthew Bernard (vocals/guitar), Mitchell Bernard (guitar/vocals), Steve MacMillan (drums), Andrew Thomson (bass), and Greg Profit (sax). A year in the making, Off We Go offers 15 tracks that promises to hit a high note with listeners. Reminiscent of the band's powerful live performances, the album includes selections that represents the band's past, such as the first single 'Off We Go', a tribute to those days where the rain seems to never end.

A fusion of rock and reggae, the new album offers hints of the band's musical influences, drawing on works from a variety of genres. Quickly maturing over the years, Weak Size Fish has expanded with a fan base across a variety of provinces and cities. They continue to grow as they hop in the white mini-van and trod along the Maritime coast.

Formed in 2005, Weak Size Fish began as an acoustic trio. Since the early days, the band has graduated from a house-rocking trio to a six-piece ensemble on the Maritime bar scene. Along the way, the band has shared the stage with such musical acts as Slowcoaster, Grand Theft Bus, Chillin' Room, and Divine Heist.

Ready to take it to the next level, Weak Size Fish aims to grow day-to-day as they move forth on the music scene. As more tour dates are added, be sure to check out if the band is coming towards your neck of the woods.
