Biography

Jim Schwall is a guitarist, mandolin player and singer-songwriter, probably best known as the co-leader of the Siegel-Schwall Band.

Schwall's own extensive list of influences are Blues, Folk and Country artists, including Scrapper Blackwell, Chuck Brodsky, Big Bill Broonzy, Guy Clark, Honeyboy Edwards, Robbie Fulks, Lowell George, Merle Haggard, Lightnin' Hopkins, Christine Kane, Huddy Ledbetter, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Joni Mitchell, Bill Morrissey, John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Loudon Wainwright and Robert Pete Williams.
