Solo Career:

As his partner Rodolphe Burger, he leads a solo career at the same time as Kat Onoma, releasing regularly innovative discs, in sound and in world,very personal, directly inspired by painting and visual arts, and he sometimes,by collaborating with musicians as Stefan Schneider, Dominique A or the Tarwater group. He also participates in albums of Zend Avesta, Françoiz Breut or Dani. He also collaborated with 48 Cameras, as well as with David Coulter, Jean Marie Mathoul and Charlemagne Palestine.

However music represents only a part of his artistic activity. Since 1996 (realization of the pop video of Radioactivity, piece of Kraftwerk taken back by the group of Strasbourg, as well as of the documentary Kat Onoma(as his name points it out), Philippe Poirier works out numerous short-films, principally in Great 8.
