Roland Gift, born April 28, 1961, in Birmingham, England, is a British actor and musician. He initially gained recognition as the charismatic lead singer of the popular pop band Fine Young Cannibals.
Gift expanded his creative endeavors into acting in 1987, making his film debut in Sammy and Rosie Get Laid. He also portrayed a lounge singer in Barry Levinson's film Tin Men, performing songs featured on the Fine Young Cannibals album The Raw and The Cooked. His television work includes a notable role as the villainous Immortal Xavier St. Cloud in the series Highlander, beginning in 1993. Gift's filmography also includes appearances in Scandal and The Island of the Mapmaker's Wife.
