Electric Callboy, formerly known as Eskimo Callboy, emerged from Castrop-Rauxel, Germany, in 2010, quickly establishing themselves as a distinctive force in the metalcore and electronicore scenes. The band's current lineup features vocalist Nico Sallach, who joined in early 2020, replacing longtime frontman Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler. Alongside Sallach are vocalist and keyboardist Kevin Ratajczak, guitarists Daniel Haniß and Pascal Schillo, bassist Daniel Klossek, and drummer David Friedrich.

The band's journey began with the self-released eponymous EP in 2010, initially distributed by EMP and later reissued by Redfield Records. During this formative period, Electric Callboy honed their sound while supporting established acts such as Bakkushan, Callejon, and We Butter the Bread with Butter. They also made their mark on the festival circuit, sharing stages with artists like Casper and Rantanplan, and performing at notable events like Traffic Jam Open Air and Mair1 Festival in 2011.
