Der KFC was a German punk band from Düsseldorf. "KFC" is the abbreviation for "Kriminalitätsförderungs-
club" (German for Crime Support Club).
The band was founded in 1978 and existed till 1982. After their breakup the members played in bands such as Die Toten Hosen, Family*5 and Nichts. Tommi Stumpff started a solo career and turned his attention to electronic music.
