Jukkis Uotila

Jukkis Uotila is a finnish drummer, pianist and composer. He is an important figure in the finnish jazz scene, being the head of The Jazz Music Department of the Sibelius Academy in 1986-1994 and the first Professor of Jazz music in all of Scandinavia. He has worked with several international jazz stars (including Randy Brecker, Mike Stern, McCoy Tyner, Joey Calderazzo, Joe Henderson...) and published many solo recordings.
