History
Beast in Black is a heavy metal band formed in Helsinki, Finland, in 2015. The group was founded by guitarist Anton Kabanen, who had previously been a member of the band Battle Beast.
Band Members
The current lineup of Beast in Black features Anton Kabanen on guitar, Yannis Papadopoulous on vocals, Kasperi Heikkinen on guitar, Mate Molnar on bass, and Atte Palokangas on drums. The band's only lineup change occurred in 2017 when original drummer Sami Hänninen departed for medical reasons, and was replaced by Palokangas.
Musical Journey and Releases
Beast in Black played their first live performance in late 2015, opening for Nightwish. The band released an EP titled "Power of the Beast." Their debut full-length album, "Berserker," was completed in the summer of 2017 and released on November 3, 2017, through Nuclear Blast. The second album, "From Hell with Love," followed in early 2019. The band has since released "Dark Connection" in 2021.
