History
NewDad is a rock band that emerged from Galway, Ireland, in 2018. Their sound has drawn comparisons to influential acts such as The Cure, Beabadoobee, and fellow Irish band Just Mustard, according to NME magazine.
Atwood Magazine has highlighted the group's distinctive character, noting their "cynical but honest lyrics, colourful visual components, and poignant messages about coping with the, albeit painful, formative experiences."
The band has gained recognition through performances at notable festivals including the Green Man Festival in Wales and the Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris. They have also been featured on the Irish television program Other Voices.
