Los Auténticos Decadentes

Los Auténticos Decadentes, a prominent Argentine band, is celebrated for its distinctive fusion of ska with a rich palette of Latin American rhythms. The group's origins trace back to approximately 1986, when founding members Cucho and Nito initiated the project, soon inviting Gastón to become part of the ensemble.

Their breakthrough came with the hit single "Veni Raquel," a track that not only achieved widespread popularity but also established the band's signature style characterized by irreverent lyrics and ironic humor. Over the years, Los Auténticos Decadentes have cultivated a repertoire of anthems that have become synonymous with Argentine nightlife. These include enduring fan favorites such as "Corazón," "Loco (Tu Forma de Ser)," "Entregá el Marrón," "La Guitarra," "Los Piratas," and "El Murguero."

The band's visual and musical collaborations have often featured notable Argentine figures. For some of their hit songs and accompanying music videos, Los Auténticos Decadentes have enlisted the participation of iconic personalities, including former soccer referee Guillermo Nimo and the renowned candombe singer Alberto Castillo. This willingness to draw from diverse cultural influences, such as canzonetta, murga bands, and cantina songs, has enabled the band to resonate with audiences across multiple generations.
