Dodgy is an English Britpop trio formed in Birmingham, featuring Nigel Clark on vocals and bass, Mathew Priest on drums, and Andy Miller on guitar. The band gained significant recognition in 1995 with their single "Good Enough," which became the most played track of the year. Although Clark departed in 1998, leading to the band's initial split, Priest and Miller later reunited in 2001 as a five-piece. The original trio reformed in 2007 and has since released new material.
In February 2012, Dodgy released the critically acclaimed album "Stand Upright In A Cool Place," followed by "What Are We Fighting For" in 2016. Both albums can be ordered directly from the band's website. Regarding the 11-year gap between their earlier work and "Stand Upright In A Cool Place," Nigel Clark commented on the band's deliberate approach, stating, "What’s the rush? We’ve taken our time to make sure this album is better than our last one… and that was brilliant. The fans deserve it and we believe that the songs are good enough to win us a whole new audience."
