Katherine "KC" Groves, born March 14, 1971, is an American musician recognized for her contributions to old-time music and bluegrass. A skilled mandolin player and vocalist, Groves released her debut CD, Can You Hear It, in 1999. The album garnered critical acclaim, earning her the Detroit Music Award for Best Bluegrass Artist/Group.
In 2000, Groves co-founded the influential old-time music ensemble Uncle Earl alongside Jo Serrapere. Her solo career continued with the release of her second album, Something Familiar, in 2004.
