History

Creme Fresh

The story of Creme Fresh begins in the year 2000. As the world recovered from the turn of the millennium without any major technological collapses, a young Lukas Roth was in his father's basement, crafting his first beats. Under the moniker BUSTLA, he found his creative stride. Simultaneously, a few kilometers away, Keno Langbein was penning his early lyrics. He quickly realized that his given name, Keno, was sufficient for his artistic identity. In another part of the same city, Anton Schneider, after a few beers at a party, discovered a talent for freestyle rapping, leading to the birth of his stage name, FATONI.

Formation and Early Releases

United by a shared passion for graffiti and rap music, the three teenagers soon crossed paths. Impressed by each other's skills, they decided to collaborate. The nascent group was christened Creme Fresh. In 2003, their demo tape, "Queerbeat," was released, a time when physical cassette tapes were still the medium of choice.

Freestyle Acclaim and Debut Album

From then on, their musical journey was continuous. Between 2002 and 2005, KENO and FATONI dominated Munich's freestyle battle scene, winning nearly every competition and even facing each other in multiple finals. In 2005, Creme Fresh independently released their debut album, "Frische Spuren," without the involvement of a label or distributor. The influential "Juice Magazine" declared the work "Demo of the Month," and the "Süddeutsche Zeitung" further recognized their potential by naming Creme Fresh "Hopefuls of the Year 2006."

EP Release and Second Album

In February 2007, Creme Fresh supported Blumentopf on their "Musikmaschine Tour II," releasing the six-track EP "Baustelle" for the occasion. Their second album, "Hast Du Feuer?!," followed in June 2007, released by the Munich-based label "58 Beats." This album marked a significant progression, with several tracks gaining rotation on various radio stations. Music portals celebrated "Hast Du Feuer?!" as "Album of the Year," and "Juice Magazine" remarked, "Great things are yet to come."

Touring and Live Performances

With their new album in hand, Creme Fresh embarked on another two-week tour in September, this time alongside the old-school legends Main Concept. To date, the group has performed over 200 shows, gracing diverse venues from large concert halls and intimate bars to underground clubs. Creme Fresh is renowned for their captivating live performances, which are meticulously planned, interactive stage shows rather than simple track playback. BUSTLA's varied musical arrangements demand more than passive head-nodding. FATONI and KENO, exceptional rappers and MCs, engage the audience with their theatrical flair and improvisational comedy. This dynamic stage presence has also been showcased at poetry slams and on the battle DVD "Feuer über Deutschland 3," where rap.de described their contribution as "the best battle on the DVD."

Future Endeavors

Creme Fresh continues to be an active force in the music scene. They regularly perform live, collaborate with brass bands, and have pioneered hip-hop street music tours in shopping malls across Germany. Their next album, "SCHERBEN," is anticipated to be released in the fall of 2009, promising to make a significant impact. The group's message is clear: "Come along or get out of the way, but we have to get through this!"
