al.ni.co was a Japanese unit-band formed in 1997 by former WANDS members Show Uesugi (上杉昇) and Hiroshi Shibasaki (柴崎浩) following their departure from the band.
The duo made their debut in March 1998 with the single "TOY$!". This was followed by two more singles released in the same year: "Hareta Owari" (晴れた終わり) on November 11th, and "Canary" (カナリア) on January 21st, 1999. Later in 1999, on March 3rd, al.ni.co released their first full-length album, titled "Sirens" (セイレン).
