History

Mogg/Way was a musical project formed by Phil Mogg, the distinctive vocalist of the iconic British rock band UFO, and Pete Way, UFO's long-standing bassist. This collaboration brought together two foundational members of UFO to explore a different creative outlet.

Phil Mogg

Phillip John 'Phil' Mogg was born on April 15, 1948, in Wood Green, North London. He is primarily known as the vocalist and a founding member of UFO. Mogg's unique vocal style and songwriting have been central to UFO's sound throughout their career.

Pete Way

Peter 'Pete' Frederick Way was born on August 7, 1951, in Enfield, Middlesex. He is a renowned bass player, most famously recognized for his work with UFO. Beyond UFO, Way also founded Waysted and was a member of Fastway and played with Ozzy Osbourne.

Mogg/Way Collaboration

Edge of the World (1997)

In 1997, Mogg and Way joined forces to release their first collaborative album, titled "Edge Of The World." This project allowed them to showcase their musical chemistry outside the established framework of UFO.

Chocolate Box (1999)

Following the success of their initial collaboration, Mogg and Way released a second album together in 1999, "Chocolate Box." This continued their partnership, further solidifying their work as a duo.
