History

Bradley McIntosh

Bradley John McIntosh, born August 8, 1981, in London, England, is a musician best known for his time as a member of the popular English pop group S Club 7.

Early Life and Musical Beginnings

McIntosh's passion for music began at a very young age. "I've been hooked since the moment I picked up a pair of drum sticks when I was four," he recalls. He comes from a musical family, with both parents having been part of the 1980s soul band The Cool Notes and remaining active in the music industry. Despite his family's background, McIntosh emphasizes that his career choice was entirely his own: "Neither Mum or Dad pushed me into this though. I just instantly knew that this was what I wanted to do."

Influences and Solo Aspirations

Inspired by artists like Michael Jackson, who remains a significant musical hero, McIntosh formed his first band, Crisp, with his sister and cousin during his early teens. Even with the demanding schedule of S Club 7, McIntosh found solace and creative expression in his home recording studio. He describes making music as his primary method of relaxation, stating, "Making music really is my way of unwinding. While we're away, I have all these ideas floating through my head, so I try to remember them and take them home with me." His ultimate ambition is to achieve success as a songwriter, confessing, "I won't be satisfied until I've written a Number One Hit. That's my ultimate dream."

Recent Projects

McIntosh has also participated in television projects, including MTV's show "Totally Boyband," where he was part of a new group formed with former members of other pop acts.
