History

Hatrix: A Cleveland Metal Project

Hatrix emerged from Cleveland's vibrant music scene in 1989, a metal band fronted by the distinctive vocals of Jeff Hatrix, known for his work with Mushroomhead. Guitar duties were handled by Dave Felton, also a member of Mushroomhead. The project released two full-length albums during its initial run: Collisioncoursewithnoplace and Revolution.

Musical Influences and Discography

The band's sound drew significant inspiration from the aggressive guitar work of Pantera. While Hatrix remained active, their album output concluded in 1994. However, their music continued to surface through contributions to compilations, including a track on the Industry Compilation in 1996 and another on the Mushroomhead Inc. Sampler in 1998.

Reunion and Later Activity

In 2005, Hatrix briefly reunited, performing a series of shows in the Cleveland area. Despite this reunion, no further album releases have been documented since their initial two LPs.
