Ibon Errazkin is a prominent figure in the Spanish independent music scene, recognized for his creativity, influence, and respected contributions. A skilled guitarist, songwriter, composer, and arranger, he is perhaps best known as the frontman for Le Mans, a highly regarded five-piece band from San Sebastian that achieved significant recognition in the 1990s. The band disbanded in 1998, at a time when their music was gaining international traction.

While Le Mans was Errazkin's primary focus throughout the 1990s, he also engaged in various side projects. From 1990 to 1996, he led Daily Planet, an instrumental group drawing inspiration from bands like Felt and Orange Juice. Daily Planet released two albums: "Calypso" in 1995 and "Romance" in 1996.
