History

Eyes Adrift

Eyes Adrift was a notable rock supergroup formed in 2002, bringing together three prominent figures from the alternative music scene. The band comprised Curt Kirkwood, known for his work with the reformed Meat Puppets, on vocals and guitar; Krist Novoselic, formerly of Nirvana, on vocals and bass; and Bud Gaugh, a member of Sublime, on drums.

Self-Titled Debut and Unique Sound

The trio released their sole, self-titled album, Eyes Adrift, in 2002. The record showcased a distinctive blend of country-influenced rock, artfully merging the diverse musical experiences and styles of its members. Following the album's release, Eyes Adrift embarked on an extensive touring schedule.

Disbandment and Subsequent Projects

The band disbanded in 2003, after a period of considerable touring. Following the dissolution of Eyes Adrift, Curt Kirkwood and Bud Gaugh later collaborated on a separate, one-off project called Volcano, which resulted in a limited-edition self-titled album.
