Saigon Kick

Saigon Kick emerged as a harmonic hard rock band, skillfully navigating the line between their core rock sound and alternative sensibilities without alienating their established fanbase. The group aimed to be a band for the thoughtful listener, characterized by intelligent and provocative lyrical content.

Formed in Miami, Florida, the original lineup consisted of Matt Kramer on vocals, Jason Bieler on guitar, Tom DeFile on bass, and Phil Varone on drums. The band cultivated a dedicated following within their home state before securing a record deal with Atlantic Records. Their self-titled debut album was recorded in an impressively short eleven days. Despite receiving critical acclaim, the album initially failed to gain significant traction with the public.
