Max Alfred Elliott (born June 10, 1961), professionally known as Maxi Priest, is a British reggae singer of Jamaican heritage. He is recognized for blending reggae with R&B influences, a style commonly termed reggae fusion. Priest was a pioneering international artist in this genre, achieving considerable success and continuing to be one of its most prominent performers.
