Career Beginnings and International Breakthrough

William Grigahcine, professionally known as DJ Snake, is a French-Algerian DJ and record producer who has become a defining figure in the fusion of hip-hop and electronic music. He first gained major international attention in 2013 with the release of "Bird Machine" and the multi-platinum hit "Turn Down for What."

"Bird Machine," a collaboration with the French act Alesia, was released through Diplo's Los Angeles-based label, Mad Decent. This success led to an invitation from Diplo to perform a live mix on the prestigious "Diplo & Friends" show on BBC Radio 1. His momentum continued to build as he earned a Grammy nomination, cementing his status as a top-tier producer in the global dance scene.

Collaborations and Industry Recognition

In early 2014, DJ Snake collaborated with Dillon Francis on the high-energy track "Get Low." His rapid ascent in the industry earned him recognition as an "Artist to Watch," leading to a spot on the 2014 Mothership Tour alongside Skrillex. Known for his ability to blend diverse genres, DJ Snake has consistently remained at the forefront of the electronic music landscape through high-profile collaborations and a distinct production style.
