Ludovico Einaudi, born November 23, 1955, is an acclaimed Italian pianist and composer whose work spans classical foundations with influences from pop, rock, folk, and world music. After receiving his training at the Conservatorio Verdi in Milan, Einaudi initially established himself as a classical composer before expanding his sonic palette.
Einaudi has contributed significantly to film and television, composing scores for notable productions such as This Is England, The Intouchables, and I'm Still Here. He also composed the score for the TV miniseries Doctor Zhivago and the film Acquario (1996), earning him a Grolla d'oro award. His music has been featured in critically acclaimed films, including the Golden Globe and Academy Award-winning Nomadland and The Father.
