EPMD

EPMD, an influential American hip-hop duo, emerged from Brentwood, New York, leaving a significant mark on East Coast hip-hop. Active initially from 1987 to 1999, the group reunited in 2006, continuing their legacy.

The group's name, an acronym for "Erick and Parrish Making Dollars," directly reflects its core members: rappers Erick Sermon, also known as "E Double," and Parrish Smith, or "PMD." Throughout their career, the group was supported by DJs, including Diamond J, DJ K La Boss, and later, DJ Scratch.
