Biography
Phenomenal and extremely talented technical singer whose greatest fame came to him when he became a part of The Temptations at Motown from 1984 - 1996. Prior to his stint with the Temps, the great Mr. Woodson had sung with the Drifters and the post-Teddy Pendergrass Harold Melvin & the Bluenotes. He is also known to have worked as a background vocalist with several popular artists including Aretha Franklin, Freda Payne, and Whitney Houston, among others. It is his lead vocals which graced one of the Temptations finest album recordings, "Truly for You" (circa 1984). Furthermore, from that album came the hit single, "Treat Her Like a Lady", featuring his soaring lead vocal. He died, it is reported, from cancer in 2010.
