[ Uriah Heep here is pronounced: YER * A * HEAP ] Michael William Andersen is a guitarist that was born in New York City, New York on November 26, 1957 - the son of Kathleen Vaun Zuber and Jerry Richard Andersen. His association with west coast bands is a little vague due to most of his education being in the State of Utah where his father was a Law Professor. A possible stage name for him is Top Jimmy, a name which could refer to Jimmy Page or a character from the Who Album, "Quadrophenia". Mike had an accident in a motor vehicle in 1982 because of a dispute with the college surrounding a Professional Rock Band in San Francisco. In 1997 he visited Madonna's home in Hollywood on Oriole Way in a effort to explain what caused the auto wreck. Since the auto accident - Michael hasn't been able to play the piano (for financial reasons) but, has recently concentrated on guitar and making recordings. When Mr. Andersen sang for Jynx in [year formed]1977[/year formed]in the Bay Area in the early Seventies, it changed his music tastes to including the Rolling Stones. Larry Hansen first showed Mike how to play an electric guitar in Utah in about 1976.
