History
Animal Jazz was formed in Saint Petersburg during the autumn of 2000. They have twice been nominated for Fuzz Magazine Awards, as "Best New Band" in 2003 and "Best Live Band" in 2004. They played sets during the awards ceremonies in both years. In August, 2006, Animal Jazz headlined the alternative stage at Russia's biggest open-air rock festival "Nashestvie."
