Ha-Dwa-O! is a Polish band initiated in 1999 by two persons: a journalist and guitarist - Tomek Konfederak and a music producer and pianist - Bartek Wielgosz. The band have released 4 albums for now. All of them were published by Sony Music Entertainment Poland. The songs presented in their albums were frequently included into soundtracks of many Polish films. They are easily recognized all over the country by their 5 smash hits: “Zatrzymaj Mnie” (Stop Me), “Sen o Samotnosci” (A Dream of Being Lonely), “Tylko Badz” (Just Be There), “Oszukam czas” (I’ll fool the Time), “Magia Swiat” (The Magic of Christmas). All of these songs received the highest rotations in all radio stations in Poland. The last but not least, “Ha-Dwa-O!” is the author of “Serce Sercu” (A Heart for Heart) - the hymn of Wielka Orkiestra Swiatecznej Pomocy (The Great Orchestra of Christmas Help), which is the greatest charity action in the world.

This year WOSP had its 12th edition in Poland. The aim of this help-bringing undertaking is to collect money in order to gain funds for life-saving equipment for children and toddlers. Every year in January, in the whole country all Polish musician give gigs in every Polish city. During these concerts volunteers collect money. Ha-Dwa-O! came up with a song which is the emblem of this charity action for 12 years now. The band was noticed in the Polish music market only when they released their first single “Zatrzymaj Mnie” and the same year they were nominated to “Fryderyki” and “Superjedynki” (in categories: dance/pop and electronics music) - the Polish equivalents of Grammy Awards. Apart from this most prestigious Polish music award, they got the award given by Polish DJ’s and the award given by Polish Television.
