History
Mexican noise makers, the Tuareg Geeks, Paco and Santiago met in high school in 2001. Santiago was just 15 then, but he was tired of every local band he had listened to. Everything was the fucking same, too boring, predictable and boring. So, they made a band and later called it Tuareg Geeks.
The influences were everything, both have an extremely eclectic musical taste. From jazz to grind, to rap, to classical music, punk, hardcore techno, noise and many other shit. The goal with tuareg geeks was just to sound weird and make shitty music to demonstrate no talent or money was needed in the music business. It was more like a protest against the lack of creativity and originality seen in Mexico than a real band. All without taking themselves seriously.
