History The New Ages
The New Ages are an alternative rock band based in Birmingham. They have an eclectic mix of influences and styles from the very funky RHCP's to French rockers Noir Désir.
Originally formed by singer Ant Evans and guitarist Daniel Berridge in 2009 they began writing songs and put together a band to play to the world. After disbanding that project, they continued writing new songs and playing acoustic nights at local bars showcasing old and new material.
In late 2012 they decided a full band was needed to be able to perform their songs at the highest quality and in their ultimate form. After a short spell of searching for the right members they recruited a funky French bass player Ludo Roche and a groovy drummer Ben Sinclair. They immediately made their mark on the songs, with their input changing the way they feel and making them sound even better than before.
Together as a full band since January they have already been into the recording studio to record their debut EP called ‘Piper Man’ and plan on gigging as much as possible in the future. They are constantly practicing, writing new material and are always looking forward to the next gig.
