Started 9 years ago as something to do on a Sunday night at the Saxon Pub, a favorite South Austin, Texas bar, The Resentments are all seasoned musicians who front their own bands but enjoy the dynamic of being a sideman as well. Using an eclectic acoustic/electric format, they're free to try anything, newly written songs, old favorites, various styles and tunes unavailable to them in their respective bands, switching instruments like it's no big deal. A healthy disregard for each other plus an open door policy for any other friends that happen by, makes the Sunday Evening service at The Saxon Pub a uniquely Austin event.
They guarantee that tonight's show is gonna be different from last night's show, and that's about the only promise they'll keep.
