History
k.d. lang and The Reclines was a Canadian band formed by singer and songwriter k.d. lang in 1983 with Stu Macdougal on keys, Dave Bjarnson on drums, Gary Koligar on guitar and bassist Farley Scott. Originally a Patsy Cline tribute band, the band recorded their debut single, Friday Dance Promenade, at Sundown Recorders and regularly played Edmonton's popular Sidetrack Cafe.
