Biography Jamie Rowe

Jamie Rowe got his start in Christian music as a teenager. Known mostly for his work with melodic hard rockers Guardian (Pakaderm/Myrrh/Epic), Jamie has recorded numerous albums resulting in an impressive track record of hit songs at Christian radio, retail success, and major touring.

Since the disbanding of Guardian, Jamie has worked as a solo artist -winning a Gospel Music Association Dove Award for his work on The Prayer Of Jabez Ep- as well as heading up the mainstream oriented "Power Pop" band called "London Calling" who released "You're So Lucky" on Atenzia Records/Zomba Music in Europe. Jamie is being heard by the world at large within and beyond the scope of Christian music.

As a songwriter, his songs have been recorded by Dc Talk's tobyMac (On The GRAMMY winning album "Solo"), Ratt vocalist Stephen Pearcy, Slaughter's Mark Slaughter and Bob Carlisle of "Butterfly Kisses" fame among others. Songs have been included on Playstation's Downhill Domination game, Mtv's Tough Enough reality show and the feature films Extreme Days and Hangman's Curse.

As a session vocalist, Jamie is the voice behind promotional music for Fox, UPN, and many others. As a lead vocalist, he also shines on recordings with International hard melodic rock band Adriangale, also doing backing vocals on many projects including recent albums from Sonic Flood (INO/Epic) and Petra (Inpop/EMI).

In 2004, Jamie released a solo album "Songs For Heaven and Earth/Dios De Amor" throughout Latin America on the Harper-Collins owned VIDA Music.

In August of 2005 he was named Manager of Internet Marketing for the Nashville based indie label Selectric Records, A Sony-BMG affiliated venture of 3.1 Productions. He also does freelance marketing and consultation for various CBA market record labels and artists.

Mr. Rowe can be found in the booming metropolis of Ft. Branch, Indiana at any given time where he sings and plays guitar in his Church's worship band.
