Kate Nash

Kate Nash, born July 6, 1987, is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter from Harrow, North London. Her musical journey began in childhood with piano studies. She attended St. John Fisher school and later St. Joan of Arc School. Nash honed her songwriting skills while studying music for her GCSEs and at the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology.

Initially drawn to acting, Nash auditioned for the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2005 but was unsuccessful. Following a fall that resulted in a broken foot, she found solace in songwriting during her recovery. This period led her to write new material and revisit older songs, ultimately motivating her to book a gig at a local bar. This experience solidified her decision to pursue a career in music.
