Biography Johnny Solinger

Solinger

Johnny Solinger moved to the Dallas/Ft Worth area as a young boy where he was exposed in equal doses to Hard Rock and Country music, and fell in love with them both. In 1990, he formed the rock band SOLINGER in Dallas, recording 4 independent records -Solinger, Solinger II, Chain Link Fence and Solinger Live-and enjoying live performance and radio success throughout the Southwest.

In 1999 Skid Row members Dave "The Snake" Sabo, Rachel Bolan, and Scotti Hill hired Solinger to replace previous lead vocalist Sebastian Bach. In 2000, Skid Row landed a coveted opening slot on Kiss's "Farewell Tour."[1]

[edit]Solo Country Career

In 2008, Johnny pursues something that's been running through his veins his whole life...country music. His first country album was only released regionally and is filled with both sides of Johnny Solinger, Country and Rock. The album includes the song "You lie", which he recorded with his band mates of Skid Row. Johnny is currently working on his second country effort.
